Goewin

Goewin is a character from the Mabinogion, a thinly Christianized collection of tales from Welsh myth.  She was the virgin footholder of Math, until Gilfaethwy committed rape against her, with the help of his brother Gwydion while Math was away.  When he returned and found this out, he punished the brothers and made Goewin his queen to save her from dishonor.
