Nantosuelta is a continental Celtic Goddess; Her name may mean either 'Meandering Stream' or 'Sunlit Valley'. She is shown on some stone carvings holding a small house or temple on a pole, and a raven often accompanies Her. Her cult-partner is Sucellos, the Celtic hammer God. She can also be shown with something that may be a beehive. She is accordingly assumed to be a Goddess of domesticity, though with dark undertones, as the raven is invariably a bird of death in Celtic thought. Sucellos is heavily associated with the wine harvest (the center of Their worship appears to be right in the heart of the French and German wine-growing regions, especially the valley of the Moselle River), so an autumnal or harvest theme seemed appropriate (especially since Nantosuelta could also be shown with apples or similar fruit).
